If enough requests come in I may also publish the magazine at MagCloud, an online publisher that offers the option of ordering a copy in print. The problem is it does get pricey!
Thanks for commenting Irene! Glad you enjoyed it. Janell
Great issue! Love those painted chests. I did one in my showhouse room, apple green. It was my grandmother's from the 1950's, mid-century modern. My 20 year old is taking it to her apartment at college this fall!
Janell! I loved browsing this issue! And I can hardly wait for the Holiday Issue! :)
I've always wanted to meet Mayme. Her dad is a good friend of my dad's and I went to university in SC...maybe I'll stop by her shop next time I'm in Greenville! :)
Love Love Love it. It is chock-full of beautiful photos and awesome advice!! I just did a run through as I do when I get a new mag, but then I go back and "study" it. Love it, I am sure this took a lot of work, but it was worth it because it is gorgeous!!!!
This is the first time I read your magazine and I had to come here to say that "it rocks"!!!! :-) Seriously, that's exactly what I thought after reading it. It's so beautiful, fun and fresh. Love that!
I LOVE this issue! I just browsed through it cover to cover and cannot wait to go back and read the whole thing as soon as I get my son to bed! Great work Janell and the whole team! This is just what I needed today.
What a gorgeous magazine! Congratulations! If you ever want a contributor featuring more modest but still fabulous fashion I would love to write something. Hope you stop by and see what my blog's about. Keep up the fabulous work! xo Sharon www.fashion-isha.com
SO SO great! I have skimmed and can't wait to read in depth! You are always inspiring! Thank you for putting the best of us bloggers all in one place! It amazes me that you as one person can do so much for all of the other people around you... me included!
I was out of town yesterday and was thrilled this morning to get the email announcing the issue. You got it so right again Janell. I love that you're features are geared toward "real" people. I find that, while beautifully executed, some of the other online magazines are geared more toward the trust fund baby turned design enthusiast.
Congratulations, you're an inspiration to this 46 year old!
Ha, ha! Love that description, Trust Fund Baby Turned Design Enthusiast...I'm going to use that somewhere! :)
Actually you touched on something, one of my motivations was to embrace something more down to earth and real because while I ADORE looking at all the fabulousness in so many magazines, I would often feel LESS afterwards, and that made me think perhaps there was another approach. My biggest fear was that people would think it was hokey, and I'm sure some do...but that is okay. Can't make everyone happy, but we seem to be making enough people happy.
Love the new issue. You might want to reconsider the use of yellow text on The Team page or make it darker. I found it very difficult to read in the smaller font.
Just found House of Fifty this morning and I am IN LOVE! Everything I adore and am interested in, all in one beautifully photographed and laid out package-- Interior design, ART, fashion, food..
Thank you for the 2 artists you featured in Art We Love.. I write an art blog and am heading to both their websites right now to check them out. Keep up the great work!
And for future reference, items in the favorite find articles (and many other resources in the magazine) have hyperlinks to where they can be found. Just double click.
Thanks, Janell. That functionality doesn't work on my computer (I use the current version of Firefox). Not sure whether it's a quirk of my machine or a compatibility issue with Firefox.
It looks amazing. Is the only way to get it in print to do it myself?

Hi! Just perused the second issue and am curious how to source the Lullu scarf on page 117. A google search was fruitless. Can you help? Thanks!
