Whenever I thought about where marble comes from, I didn't quite envision this!
Images of a quarry in Carrara Italy.
The vastness is simply amazing, it hardly looks real.
And here it is, ready to be cut into slabs.
And placed in fabulous kitchens...
...and bathrooms.
{Dream kitchens & Bathrooms that is!}

I am a huge fan of Carrara marble. I have it on my perimeter cabinets in my kitchen, and I'm planning (well, hoping) to update my master bath counter with it in the near future. To be honest, I have never even thought about where it comes from. That image of the quarry is kindof freaky! At first, it reminded me of looking down into Ground Zero. Strange, but fascinating.
