Practice Makes Perfect?

If practice makes perfect, I could use a bit more. But talking about HOF on TV last Friday was still fun!

House of Fifty....

...coming up...

...NEXT.

What?!! This is what I saw and heard while sitting in the green room, a couple minutes before I thought I was to TAPE a segment. So instead it's live, NEXT? So much for the thought if I mess up they'll just tape another go of it and make me sound good through the miracle of editing.

"Welcome Janell! So, tell me about House of Fifty!"

"................................................."

"psst...production, where did we find this guest!"

Ha, there is nothing stranger than watching yourself on TV, especially when the kids want to pause the recording at odd moments, capturing the strangest of facial expressions.

"Fine, that's how you want to play, it's stare down time girl."

But in reality I got through it without humiliating myself and host Kimberly Maus helped make it easy.

Here we are previewing some goodies coming up in the next issue (can't wait to share more!), including a couple favorite pillows from Kassapanola.

Thanks for having me Fox 12!

did I not warn you about watching yourself?.,.... just know that there isn't a worst critic, be merciful.

I am sure you did so great, but appreciate that you can have a sense of humor about it! I think I would drop right on live TV if I had to watch myself. ;) What a great opportunity!!

I'm glad you got my sense of humor and that I'm enjoying laughing at myself...it's healthy to have a good laugh about yourself once in awhile in my book!!

Good tv spot! I think you did very well. So happy for you to get asked to do that feature.
You didn't even look nervous!
