Live.Like.You Fabulousness!

I'm quite taken with the work of Jill Sorensen, of Live.Like.You
and until March first enjoy 15% off with the House of Fifty code LIVESPLENDID15!

At her shop you can browse by "Personality." Click on the door that fits your personality, select which room you'd like to shop and find a delightful illustration and all the items needed to create the look yourself.

At 'Happy Home,' below, I choose to see the entry:

An illustration and several items seen in the room below.

And afterwards I visited 'The Hamptons' to see what that entry would like like.

A red Parsons table would make a great first impression!

It's a fun way to shop, which allows you to be inspired while visualizing how an item would look in a space.

Jill has also recently launched her own line, Jill Sorensen,
and one of my favorites is her Key Bedding line which comes in great colors.

To see more illustrated designs and a wide array of finds, make sure to visit Live.Like.You!

Just A Few Days Left...

There are just a few days left to take advantage of 15% off at Splendid Willow Avenue, a shop that just keeps getting better and better with its wonderful selection of items with that Swedish touch.

A personal favorite, the Gunnel Blanket.

And I've never seen anything quite like this, the Fancy Swedish Bicycle Basket!

Monika has also recently added a wonderful collection of clothing by Jarbo.

The Isle Jacobson Boots are the item with which she launched this boutique.
A great item for anyone living in rainy weather, available in a wide array of fun colors!
And finally, sweet items for the little ones.

Visit Splendid Willow Avenue to see more, and use LIVESPLENDID15 at checkout.

Urbanwalls: Dress Up Those Walls!

I'm excited to have Urbanwalls as a sponsor of the latest issue of House of Fifty!

I'm loving their 'House Rules' vinyl wall decor sticker art...

...and Floral Pattern and Cuckoo Decals, available in a range of colors.

And how great are these chalkboard decals, making it super easy to add a surface for reminders in any space.

Night Owls

Wall decals from Urbanwalls can also add a lot of charm to a room design.

It was hard to narrow down which designs to show in this post, visit their site to see more!

p.s. They also sell a great selection of prints at their site pixelcloud.
Loving this one...

Wallpaper Love: The Vase

I've adored this wallpaper from Clarence House, inspired by a David Hicks design, every since first seeing it in a small powder bathroom several years ago. Being a true fan, I've used it in my own home and also had a story written about it for the latest issue of House of Fifty. A classic pattern that is both traditional and hip at the same time, it's currently available in 16 various colorways. But, my favorites are the yellow and taupe.

Yes, a pantry, I had to read the text on this space twice to make sure I'd caught that properly!

And in a kitchen.
The idea behind lining the walls of this kitchen with wallpaper was to give the space its own distinct character,
despite being open to the family room and dining room through arched openings. It works!

Is there a wallpaper you've been wanting to use in your home?
